Mrs. Mackie has been a Godsend. She has helped me understand math in just a few months that I’ve been working on for years. She is very patient and does not hesitate to explain things over and always comes up with little tricks that help me understand and remember things. She is doing much better in Math. Under your guidance she received a 92 on her last report card, prior to this she was a C-D student struggling to adapt to her 6th grade teacher's teaching methods. All I would get from my daughter was her saying she doesn't understand the work. I would definitely recommend Mrs Mackie as a math tutor. My son has always been an honor roll student but when he took Algebra in high school he struggled. The 5th six weeks report card I was shocked when he brought home a 57. I spoke with his teacher and my son stayed after school for tutoring but when the progress reports came out, he had only improved to a 60. I immediately contacted Mrs Mackie and she started tutoring him. We took eight lessons from her in the next three weeks and the improvement was unbelievable. He scored 100 on his next two quizzes and scored a 93 on his final exam. He ended up with a 79 for the 6th week grade. Of course I expect higher grades than a 79 in the future but I couldn't ask for more of an improvement in 3 weeks. My son not only understands the concepts now but he enjoyed being taught by Mrs Mackie. We will be going back to her before school starts to give him a head start on next year.  Thank you Mrs Mackie.
